Worst Blogger Ever

The title of this refers to me. Haha. I promise I’m trying to get better about it, though. I haven’t updated ANYTHING. I didn’t realize that starting a new job would throw me off the way that it has. I’ve had to get use to a set schedule and routine for work again while trying to create a new schedule and routine for getting healthy and losing weight. I’d like to think of myself as someone that is pretty good at multitasking but that is proving not to be the case.

*sigh* I’ll get it together soon, though. You have my word.

With that being said, I did manage to work out and eat better overall this week even incorporating a vegan recipe (YAY ME!) into my lunch one of the days. I can promise to be back in action with recipes and what not this coming Friday (2/24) at the latest. I also want to start giving this blog more structure so that should be coming soon as well. I feel like I’m all over the place but I do know what my hopes for the end game are regarding the way posts and categories are set up.

I had to make this a quick post as I am in the middle of cleaning up and doing your normal Saturday errands but I will be back soon, and when I come back it’ll be with my happiness project post. Maybe not, though. I want everyone to be able to participate but I know I don’t have a lot of followers at the moments so I’ll need to figure out a structural thing for that as well. I realize now that I am rambling so I’m gonna end this before everyone knows my every, irrelevant thought.

Hey to whoever is reading this and HAPPY FRIDAY!!!

In my last post I neglected to include that I started a new job at the beginning of this week, and it’s kind of intense at the moment because we’re training right now so my posts won’t really be frequent. I’m writing this one now because I realized I need to stay active with my posts because otherwise it’ll only be my weight loss updates once per week and that’s boring. Especially since this blog isn’t just about getting healthy.

With that being said, I really want to get the post about my 2017 happiness project up tonight or tomorrow. I would start it right now but I’m going to the movies to see the new Fifty Shades around midnight (it’s 10:36 here) and I don’t want to start writing about it because it means so much to me and I would rather have my attention on just that as opposed to writing and getting ready. Knowing me though I’ll probably end up writing the first few sentences anyway.

Oh, and in case anyone is wondering the job is going well. I mean I can only speak on the training but it’s cool. I really, REALLY like the people that I work with. The whole environment is really team oriented, everyone knows one another and management is truly in your corner. It’s definitely a great company where I believe I’ll be able to learn a lot and eventually bring those skills to my next position. The pay is really nice too so that’s a definite bonus.

Lastly, as I’ve said before I want to do a TON of things with this blog so please just bear with me and I promise you won’t be disappointed. 🙂

I’ll be back in a few hours to write my post and fill you in on the way my week went work wise and how that affected my diet.
